Every cat is unique, and so are their behaviors. While some feline quirks are endearing, others, like litter box issues, scratching, or aggression, can be challenging to manage. If you’re struggling with your cat’s behavior or simply want to create a more enriching environment for them, I’m here to help!

Before you book!

Unwanted behaviors are quite often signs of an underlying health issue that requires medical attention. Cats are masters at hiding pain or discomfort, so any sudden behavioral changes, like loss of appetite, hiding, aggression, or neglecting grooming, should always be taken seriously.

Before a behavioral consultation, I very strongly recommend a thorough health check-up with your veterinarian - it may be impossible to help your cat otherwise. For cats experiencing litter box issues, a urine test is also highly advisable.

While I do my best to help resolve behavioral challenges, every cat is a unique, living being and there’s no guaranteed quick fix. Some cases may require multiple consultations or ongoing support to find the best solution for both you and your cat.

Home Consultation

I highly recommend booking in-person consultations whenever possible, as they allow me to directly observe your cat’s behavior and environment, providing the most accurate assessment and tailored advice.

What’s included in the price?

Initial questionnaire

After you book a behavioral consultation at Meow Mentor, you will fill out a detailed questionnaire that will be the base for our discussion.

Assessment of your cat’s environment and behavioral factors

A one-on-one session (up to 2 hours) in person in the comfort of your own home.

During the consultation, you can get answers to all your questions regarding your cat’s behavior.

Personalized action plan

Within five business days after the consultation, you will receive a customized PDF with recommendations tailored to your cat’s needs.

Follow-up questions

Within two weeks of receiving your recommendations, you have a one-time opportunity to submit any additional questions in a single email. You will receive a response within five business days.

Transportation

I operate within Copenhagen and Greater Copenhagen - up to ~30 minutes by public transport and do not charge any additional transportation fees.

If you would like to book a follow-up session(s) for a continued therapy of the same issue, the cost is 275 DKK per session (online) or 500 DKK per session (in person).

If you live outside of Greater Copenhagen, or don’t have time for in-person meeting, I can offer a virtual consultation. As I won’t be able to see the cat and their environment in person, I may ask you to prepare some photos and videos beforehand and, depending on the problem, perform a short room tour during the meeting.
